The 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo S represents the pinnacle of Porsche's electric vehicle lineup. It features an enhanced performance battery with increased capacity from 93 kWh to 105 kWh and a lower weight. The system output has been bumped up significantly, with the Turbo S model now producing 938 horsepower when using Launch Control. This makes it the most powerful production Porsche to date. Charging capabilities have also been improved, with the ability to charge at up to 320 kW under optimal conditions at 800-volt DC charging stations, which is an increase of 50 kW over previous models. This allows for a fast-charging window that sustains high charging capacities for longer periods, even at lower temperatures, and can potentially reduce the time to charge from 10% to 80% to just 18 minutes.
